Yes, there is going to be a fourth installment of Mission: Impossible(slated for a May 2011 release), and some interesting names have surfaced as possible directors. The article can be found here, but some of the names that have been mentioned are Brad Bird, who directed The Incredibles and Ratatouille, Edgar Wright, who directed Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, and Ruben Fleischer, who directed Zombieland.
Some directors I really like, especially Wright and Bird, but I don't think it'll be enough to add to a movie that probably shouldn't get made. What do you think?
