Box Office Report!

Someone has finally unseated Alice and Wonderland! The full report can be found here, but How to Train Your Dragon premiered at #1 this week with $43.3 million. Alice in Wonderland finished in second, ending a three week run at #1, finishing with a weekend total of $17.3 million, bringing its total to $293.1 million domestically. The only other new release this week was Hot Tub Time Machine, which debuted at #3 with $13.7 million.

In other news, for the first time since its December release, Avatar finished outside of the top 10. This is likely due to How to Train Your Dragon taking most of its remaining 3-D screens, but it was a good run, as its domestic total is at $740.4 million and its worldwide total has reached $2.7 billion.

What do you think? How long do you anticipate How to Train Your Dragon being able to hold on to that top spot?
