Kick-Ass - This week marks the long-awaited and much-discussed release of Kick-Ass. I've been hearing this movie is actually pretty clever and good, with some great action sequences. It features performances from two up-and-coming actors everyone should be on the lookout for in Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Chloe Moretz (Hit-Girl). This is one I am actually really looking forward to seeing.

Death at a Funeral - On the other side of the spectrum, here is a movie whose release I have been dreading since I saw the trailer. I am a huge fan of the British original, and it seems as if they have replaced the smart, subtle humor with race, sex, and Burger King jokes. I'll pass.
